Flint River Coffee / Russell Hill Cancer Foundation Car Show
PRESS RELEASE
On Saturday, August 14, 2010, Flint River Coffee Company will host a
Car Show to raise money for the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation in
Huntsville, AL. This event is sponsored by local businesses and
volunteers. This community sponsored event is intended to raise cancer
awareness as well as money for the Foundation. Registration for the car
show will begin at 8a.m. and other activities kick off at 10a.m. Activities
include live music provided by local bands and artists, food, K9
demonstration by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department deputies, a
blood drive for the American Red Cross, appearances by Big Al and
Aubie from the University of Alabama and Auburn University, lots of
raffles for prizes and much more. There is definitely something for the
entire family including face painting for kids and instructed painting
classes for anyone wishing to paint a ribbon in honor or memory of a
loved one. We are inviting everyone to join us to increase awareness
for cancer and raise funds to touch the lives of others. The car show
registration is $15 per vehicle with all the proceeds of this event going
to the Foundation. The event will take place at 1443 Winchester Road
