Exhaust on 2011+ 5.0

Hey guys, just picked up 5.0. Looking at my exhaust options, and having a tough time evaluating the tone and sound levels from YouTube videos.

Wondering if any of you guys locally with an aftermarket exhaust setup would be willing to let me take a listen to your setup, maybe ride along to get an idea of how they sound.

Thanks all.

What are you looking for? Really loud or just a tad bit louder than stock?

This is the exact setup I have on my 12 5.0.

Love it. Get compliments on it almost daily! Very unique sound. Stainless works full exhaust.

Looking to get a bit louder, not ear bleeding loud though.

Consider the gt500s probably up through the Roush, depending how they soundin person

Check out the exhaust video in my sig-line. It sounds there just as it does in person. Aggressive when you want it to be and fairly quiet when you need to be nice to your neighbors.

I have the Borla S-Type and the sound is awesome. System was easy to install as well, quality is the best I have seen in a LONG time.

Borla and Roush are my 2 favorite sounding exhausts on the newer mustangs. Which is why I bought Roush mufflers for my 67.

I have the GT500s on my '08 4.6. They sound very good and would recommend them as well. Aggressive but not loud.

Put the GT500 set on this evening. 1.5 hours in the driveway and sounds good at start up. I'll see how it goes on the drive to work in the morning.

I think most people around here haven't modded a new 5.0 yet.

Here's a whole thread on exhaust discussions!
https://themustangsource.com/f726/20...-clips-487106/

I still have the stock exhaust on mine, and it is sounding much better after a couple thousand miles on it. I've decided not to get the GT500 mufflers, saving my money for other things instead.

thanks, I'm looking for someone local, that's why it is posted here. I've bought a lot of exhaust in my time, and videos always misrepresent the sound.
