Bonus quiz: How many RCMC members can fit into the back of Ralph's fox body?

I'd like to plan a trip to the Sand Mountain Drive-In for Saturday, October 6. They have two screens, each showing a double feature of current movies. We won't know what's showing until next week, but for $10 a carload, it's worth the experience. You will need an FM radio. Chairs, blankets and bugspray are suggested equipment. The concession stand is first rate and affordable, so don't bother bringing food.

The first movie starts at 7pm, so we will meet at the Governers Dr. Hardee's at the base of Monte Sano. We will leave promptly at 5:30pm. If you can't meet up with us, feel free to meet us at the drive-in. We like to get there a little early to set up as a group and do a little mini carshow for the folks.

What day will they tell us what is playing? We are interested "IF" something worthwhile is playing. Right now the Football movie with The Rock "The Game Plan" is the only thing I can think of worth seeing.

Too many movies now "could" be good, but they ruin them throwing in too much unneeded content to make it rated R. Seems as though a PG movie just can't make money anymore. PG-13 and R's rule the theater.

 

I just called the Theater, Phone: (256) 593-5599 the recording is still for Today's showing, not Friday. If the selection doesn't change, I'm a No.
