Club activity idea

I think it has been since late spring or early summer 2004 since we made a tour/visit (field trip) to Unique Motorcars in Gadsden. What does everyone think about a trip down that way maybe in May, a week after the RCMC show May 19th, to tour their facility ? Just an idea !

That, and I wouldn't mind doing some Go-Kart racing sometime either.

I missed that tour last year. I'd be interested.

Kart racing would be high on my list if someone found a facility that had some decent rides.

Mike, does Unique have some sort of Classifieds or networking for used cars like yours?

Ya know, I could probably buy yours for about the same price that it would cost me to build one.

I'd be up for it. It was a great tour last time.

Easily, since the deluxe pallet kit is now $24,000 - not including paint, engine, trans, assembly, accessories, LABOR, etc.

The guy who built mine (in 1997) had over $40,000 in receipts (in 1997 dollars), and this did not include his labor.

Mark,
Unique does not have a classified section per se. Most people use either http://www.cobracountry.com or http://www.clubcobra.com . In both cases, you would see that my car is priced near the lower end of the spectrum - a good buy for someone wanting to get into a well sorted, drivable replica just in time for the summer top down weather!
