Are there anymore car shows other than the ones off the events section of the site?

 

We post events as we get them. Only thing "missing" is the Oct 13 (possibly) cruise to Sand Mtn. to the drive-in movie. Absolutely, I'm sure, there are other shows, events, etc. but these are the ones more local and/or we're aware of.

 

oh yeah, don't forget that timing is everything. Spring and Summer are typically show seasons. This summer seemed low probably due to excessive heat. In the Fall, there is a small surge before the heart of football season and also the onset of Fall/Winter weather.

 

Sand Mountain Cruise-In, October 6. We changed the date moments after we picked the date. October 13 is racing in Birmingham.

 

hsvracing.com also has an Events forum on their site. They also splash things on their front page.

If I was half as cool as some people, I would get all of the flyers and post them on a website calendar. That was the beauty of the huntsvillecarscene when Samir had it going.

 

i will try to find you 31coupemama`s email address .. she sends out notices to all events within 100 miles of north alabama .. her or her husband may be a member on here although iv`e yet to see them post .. they are building a 69 r code even as we speak..

hey there is a show at the chruch next to were we have are meetings at the west end grill on oct. 6. it has no reg. fee. you can reg. between 9 and 12 show starts at 10. awards at 1

 

oct 13th .. merridianville middle school.. used to be earlier in the year but the heat kept people away

 

This Saturday (13th) at Meridianville Middle School is the next show as mentioned. Ya'll come out if possible. Usually about 50 cars. Guess who is judging . Also, while not a show per se, Vic wanted to remind everyone to RSVP him for the Valley Vette/RCMC Road Rally. All details are on the events section on the website for this and any other events.

 

I would go to the Meridianville show, but i think it is 2 far away. So i think i may go to the Providence show.

I went last year and won a 1st place plaque. Looks like I'll be going again.

 

I'll be there also, since I happen to get a 1st place plaque also last year . Chad do you want to meet somewhere or set up a meeting spot if more people want to go.

I say the Old Win Dixie parking lot in Meridianville, a mile or so before you get to the school (if going North on the Parkway) would be good spot to meet.

It looks like it starts at 9:30, so any time is fine with me. You will be coming the farthest since I only live about 2 miles from the show. What is a good time for you?
