C4 trans 29A?? L6 OR V8??

C4 trans 29A?? L6 OR V8??
I found a C4 trans in a junkyard that has" Maverick C4" wrote on it with paint and is stamped 29A on the top of the casing. Is this a v8 c4 or a L6 c4?
Anyone know?

Doesn't matter if you are going to rebuild it anyway. The main difference is the 6 has 3 clutches and the 8 has 5. The 6 can be upgraded to the 8. kennyg
