Maybe there is a padded car cover you can get for during storms?? Just a thought. Then again I dont know how much warning you get with hail?? minutes maybe?

That beating you are describing is moving in my direction. I worry about my car. I haven't seen any large hail here but it did hail some small stuff last week out of nowhere. This weather stinks. soory to hear about the 93 4 banger.

As for something to keep a car safe outside.. we always throw a couple of old quilts over the hood and roof of my dads truck if its gonna be bad. Its always worked well for us.. then whenever its sunny again just lay em out to dry..

looked the coupe over good today theres a few more dings in the hood now and some chips.. grr

Man, I am so glad that I bought this 2-car garage that just happened to have a 3BR/2BA house attached to it.

Although, I do something the neighbors don't do - I actually park my cars in it!

4 inches of fresh snow here in Ontario this morning. This is crazy. The vert will have to stay in the garage for a bit.

Dry Storage

Three Mustangs fit in this container. You really can't beat it for the $$$. I'd like to have about nine more. I looked inside after the storm. Dry as a bone

You could rent a mini-storage unit near you for about $80- a month. Not a bad price to keep it dry and hail free.

I used 3 padded moving blankets and a Covercraft car cover. One blanket over the hood, one over the roof, and one over the trunk, and then the car cover on top of all of that. The local news talked about the approaching storm for 2 days prior. Luckily when it came through it stayed about 20 miles to the south.
