Ardmore, TN Car Show on August 11
Ardmore, TN Car Show on August 11
they have a very good show .. dan wactells cars are sometimes there .. ardmore also has the thursday nite sonic cruise in .. i`m not sure if it starts tomorrow nite though .. it`s the 3rd thursday of each month..
I have a flyer on this show but forgot about it. Got in the car today and looked down between the seat and console and there was their really nice phamplet type flyer.. NIIIIIICE i will be attending this show for sure. It looks to be really nice and well planned. How many cars have attended in the past?
hit the ardmore show in the morning then the manchester show after lunch .. both good events .. wear a hat .. gunna be hot on the old head..i believe the ardmore event will have food and drink available and some shade can be found if you get a bit warm ..site sure has been slow today
I don't think it's at a school - it's at some park just over the line in TN.
it`s on grass and you can park in shade if you are perhaps one of the first 40 or so there .... i think i remember correctly .. and later that day is the cafe 302 cruise in in riverton .. could be a busy day if one wishes ..
The Ardmore show was great! Mostly looked at the cars in the shade. The RCMC was represented by the yellow 71/73's, Billy and Woody, maybe others. Saw 3 '64 Fairlane 2 door hardtops, not sure if they were Sports Coupes or not, former member Harold's is a fine example. Liked the Rat Rods and the overall assortment of vehicles, can live without Honda's, but whatever floats your boat. kennyg
The Ardmore show was great!, once I got there. My navigator, initials are Greg, knew a shortcut (LOL). Wound up on the west side of 'town', took a side road that narrowed as we continued, and missed a great photo op. Saw a mid '70s Vette up on blocks, looked like it had been there awhile. Now back to the show... Mostly looked at the cars in the shade. The RCMC was represented by the yellow 71/73's, Billy and Woody, maybe others. Harold Shepard's Fairlane is a 500 converted to a Sports Coupe. He bought it a couple of years ago from Jay Cobb (owner of Worth Muffler on University). I really liked the 440 6 Pack, 4 speed Superbird. Do you remember the orange one that sat across form First Baptist Church on Governor's Drive back in the late '70s?
