2v And 4v 289???

Ok
Can anyone tell me the MAJOR differences betwen the 2v and 4v 289.
I know one has a 2 brl carb and the other has a 4 brl carb but what about the heads are they completely different or are they the same?

you have basically answered your own question with your second statement .. but let the debate begin .. if you put a 2 brl on a 4 brl engine .. you have a 2 brl engine .

I assume we are not talking about a K-code.
That engine does have different specs on a lot of the parts.(mech. lifters etc.)
The others just have different intakes and carbs.

Yes, in 1968 the "J" code 302 (230 hp) that was standard in the '68 Shelby GT-350.

Lots of info available at http://www.302w.com .
