This is the Incorrect Steering Wheel

Well, this is nothing atypical for Ford.
Put what was once a special edition part onto a newer mustang.
At least the steering wheel doesn't have red stitching too, like the GT500 wheel.
BTW, didn't they do the same thing with the seats. Basically GT500 seats re-wrapped

I was so hoping the mess up was the GT wheel
I'm very happy that the Cobra wheel is the one, maybe that is the steering upgrade they had mentioned.
Also i kept looking at the guadges and was like "thats not 6500 redline" but i see it shows in that last pic.

would it have been to hard for them to put the tach on the RIGHT side!!?
I swear my 06GT is the only car I have ever seen with the tach on the left side, my 68 Shelby has it on the right...so did the original Bullitt!, if they wanted to at least get ONE thing the same as the 68 that coulda been it.
am I right?

IMO, it's a great idea, even if they are "hand-me-downs". Should make those available for every V8 S197 Mustang - especially the steering wheel.
And while we're at it, one of Ford's promotional pics shows the new Bullitt sporting BF Goodrich KDW II 255 45 tires...which look good, and would be the first mod I'd make >>
