What shifter allows for the stock **** and boot?

Looking at the MGW it seems like the stock shift **** wouldn't work? Our bullitt **** has an extended shank on the bottom the stock GT **** doesn't have... I should go look at GT's at the dealership.

Hurst classic? The one they put in the shelby GT?

The Bullitt **** will not fit on the Hurst compettition plus, but that being said I sure like the Hurst I put in my Bullitt. One other advantage is that the white **** looks the retro part and doesn't get hot sitting in the sun. I have had MANY positive comments on the Hurst. It shifts pretty good too. My 2 cents!
