Seeing the Shelby GT that wasn't shipped to Shelby made me think of the Bullitt since it was supposed to be a stripped representation of the 68 GT

So I made this.

 

54U GT upfitter package = Basis of a new Bullitt? You might be on to something there.

Are there any other upgrades on that package besides those mention above and the F/R bumpers?

From memory that's pretty much it. Take this as a starting point and add a blank front grille, rear black out, a few distinguishing bullitt emblems/floormats/door seal plates, and some mild performance tweeks and there's your new Bullitt? I could be completely off base. Just thinking out loud.

MSRP prices for items listed:
Wheels = ~$825 (think they are going up to ~$900)
3.55 gears = $100
Airbags = $380
front and rear bumpers = $835?

 

Hmmm, from that chop, it appears almost TOO plain-jane (need the dual vented hood), and non-black rims (dark grey perhaps)?

Color (and 'chop) is awesome regardless...

Yeah somthing done to the hood would really help the look of the car. and a 6.4L V8 would be nice

 

Car won't have any side scallops - this much we know for sure. I agree with the "plain jane" comment above - it needs the hood vents and something...more...

And of course, ride height and wheel offset is all wrong. But then it's always all wrong on factory Fords.

Very nice, but I think you should remove the side scoops and add the 3DCarbon Boy Racer hood and the SHR louvers. I love the front end as it is and the black rims go without saying. Something should be done to the mirrors as well, either painting the cases or replacing them with the Agent47 mirrors. The result might look better that what Ford will come up with.

 

Not a LOT of point in doing Bullitt chops right now, because apparently the '08s are getting a front end sheetmetal change. It's a minor change, but a change nevertheless.

 

Here are mine and dont pay any attention to burningman's or Doug's inserted sigs.

Kevin Casey (05stangkc) will probably be the 1st to know/announce a change in the 08 front end.

 

As bar listed above, dark grey wheels are A MUST! Not black, but dark grey. Also, would love the SHR louvers. Perfect throwback look.

 

I can't comment while the case is in litigation.

wasn't trying to start anything, it's just that i kinda know Danny Shaw through the Black Mustang Club... he's a fellow photographer and graphics artist, and as such myself, i just hate to see someone claiming work that isn't theirs...
