Speedometer question

What are the silver things that look like little paddles on the speedometer for?

Wool.....no!! One would have to know what a crosshair is in the first place!So I looked it up, and OK, yeah, I've seen that, I just never knew what it was called. So I got it on the fake gas cap because I recognized it because it LOOKS LIKE ONE. Those paddles are supposed to be a crosshair? No, no blushing here. Not today.

(um, or are there real crosshairs that look like paddles?)

almost 300 yrs later, and Sacagawea lives... in a Bullitt!! LOL (Saca translates 'canoe pusher')

You mean those thingies at 12/3/6 and nine? Thems cross-hairs...lock and load!

*I see top end is suppose to be 151 MPH--how come speed o meter stops at 145?

Aw that's OK. It's not so bad. Heck, I used to think (and not THAT long ago) there were leeches in leech fields
