Pics of my '08 Bullitt

I took delivery on March 17, 44 days after ordering it, and 3 years almost to the day after selling the '01 Bullitt.

Wow George awesome Bullitt. These pics look awesome. I'm lovin' it man. Congratulations.

Love the lovers and scoops. And that is a beautiful color. Why do they even make those in black when you can have DHG?
I wish I could see one in person.

Looks good. Finally they are taking custom orders more seriously.

what do you think of it so far?

No custom order other than the Bullitt Package, the additional stuff was ready and took four hours to do.

I like it so far. I expected a bit more pep, apparently the dealer filled the tank with regular rather than premium gas so I am hoping an exclusive premium tank full will make a difference. I find the exhaust note to be unlike any I've heard before and very different than the '01s'. It must be the 3V vs the 2V tune.

I thought you specifically ordered it for yourself.

The exhaust note is by design. The system is re designed from the engine to the tips specifically for the Bullitt.

Apparently they went to a lot of work to get the sound 'just right' and keep it just under legal sound limits.

Premium will make some difference. Shame on your dealer!
But you are used to the GT500 now, every Mustang will feel like it needs a bit more pep

Great pics George! Ya know, those louvers look so right on that car. Touches it off somehow.

Personally I'm glad the Bullitt doesn't come with louvers.

People who want them should be able to add them though.

I don't get it - why junk up a car with such clean lines by adding the non-functional scoops?

Apparently because it is not your car or your money. I'll be glad to take them off in exchange for a substancial donation. PayPal or cash only.

Frank: let me know if you are planning on spending time at the shop or give me a call.

Very nice car! I'm still looking to see one in person. The pictures look great but I imagine it's even better in person.

I'll keep that in mind when they fuel up our new 2008 Bullitt.

Isn't that the truth!!! When we test drove that 2008 Bullitt, the first thing out of my mouth as I was standing on it in 2nd gear was "It isn't a GT500"!

I like the Bullitt a whole bunch, But that missing 200 horsepower is very noticeable...

Now the Ford Bullitt pdf has confirmed that it is only missing 185 horsepower. lol

The differences are obvious, one of its most notable being the price. Over all it is a great improvement over the '06 GT I had.

are you happy with the 3dCarbon/StreetScene side scoops?....I got them for my dad for Christmas last year...(cause they were cheaper)...and now after a year of seeing them on there, I think I would have gotten the GT/CS ones if I had to do it over again...

Yes I am. Those are the same I had on my '06. On both cars they have been a perfect fit. I did not use the simulated carbon fiber insert strips.

They are pricey but also are of excellent quality.
