How does something that is perceived so big (compared to New Edge) handle so good? It does and then some. Very quiet interior. As others have said, much more refined than earlier models (SN95, New Edge). The drive home was two hundred miles. Lots of little curves at the end. Great hwy car. You'll find yourself speeding if you don't pay attention. Power seems good but i didn't really push it. Seats are very comfortable. Shifter is definitely not a nice tight short throw but it shifts verrry smoothly compared to the '01 Bullitt. I like the 3.73's but I wonder how 3.90's or 4.10's would feel? Remember that the '01 Bullitt has tires a full 1 1/2" shorter so rpm's would be lower in comparison. To me there is still something about the '01 Bullitt that grabs my attention but I really like the car and it continues to grow on me. In my opinion I think that Ford did the car right in the looks department as compared to '68. If you want more bling or 400 hp you need to buy something different. I just like a car that is more understated (boring or bland to some) but that's just me.

Thanks for the copmments and welcome. I check-out the site quite often but I don't post alot. Lots of good people and info here. I see quite a few familiar names from elsewhere. For the ones still waiting for their cars, you're gonna love it. Just be patient.
