Saw this at mustang week in Myrtle Beach yesterday. Owner used glass as template for piece to fit in hole. Very sharp looking. He's from Richmond, VA area and a shop there did it for him. Glass was tinted and it was hard to see what the inside looked like but he filled it it with a piece using same texture as side panel. Looked very good from what I could make out.

He did a great job of it--but why? It doesn't look as good as stock, it probably knocked a bunch off the value of his Bullitt down the road, the resulting blind spot must be ginormous, "it makes my butt look big", and he's done something funky with the Bullitt faux gas cap--which he should have canned and blended the resulting hole in the recessed panel between the taillights into the surrounding sheetmetal as professionally as he blended in the space where the quarter windows once resided. THAT I would like to see.
It's his car, his money, yada yada yada...

Nicely done but not for me. Maybe because I'm so used to the factory look but it looks like it's missing something..

With all the work they put into welding & filling the window in, they could have put in real 1967-68 louvers.
