FORD HAS NOT EVEN NEGOTIATED PRICING ON A LOT OF THE BULLITT SERVICE REPLACEMENT PARTS WITH THEIR SUPPLIERS! IT WILL BE LATE DECEMBER BEFORE WE SEE MUCH OF ANYTHING RELEASED OR PRICED. STAY TUNED! STILL NEED THAT PRODUCTION VIN!

THANKS!

how is that different from the standard security on the bullitt?

and why are wheel locks not standard on any upgraded wheel package from ford?

There is NO standard alarm system on the Bullitt. And for you to order a Bullitt with HID's, YOU MUST order the Active Anti-Theft. Its that way on a regular GT. And about the wheel locks, some people just don't like how they look on their cars, hence they aren't standard.

like i made sure i did NOT get wheel locks on my car. not just because they look ugly, but because i dont want to have to have a key especially when i have two sets of wheels that may require different lug nuts. honestly if people want my wheels and not my car. i'll deal.

We just got our first 08 Bullitt serialized yesterday. If you still need a real VIN, here's ours...

1ZVHT82H585158079

It's highland green with ambient lighting and active anti-theft. No other options.

Hope this helps.

I wonder if all the Bullitt VIN's are consecutive?
The last digits in my VIN are- 161508...which is a difference of 3429 from your VIN. If so it would seem that half of the Bullitts are already scheduled for build.

I doubt the VINs are consecutive specifically for Bullitts.

The Bullitt serial numbers though should be.

Bullitt VIN #'s are NOT consecutive. Bullitt VIN #'s are intertwined with V6, GT, GT/CS, and Shelby Mustangs coming down the assembly line.

Bullitts are currently 17% of the mix, however, so a difference of 3429 in your VIN is roughly about 583 Bullitts apart, assuming every 6th Mustang is really a Bullitt.

About 8,000 Mustangs are built each month. AAI can build a maximum of 160,000 Mustangs per year due to sharing the plant with Mazda (which builds the Mazda6 in the same facility).
