Just tried again to order it and....SUCESS!!!! We put 3 cars in for stock. Now comes the fun part, to see if Ford will give us all 3 cars. Cars are ordered with AAT, Wheel Locks, HID's, Ambient Lighting, and of course the Bullitt package (which is a $3,310 package).

 

I thought the Bullitt package was supposed to be around $1900.00

 

Yeah, me too. But like I mentioned in the past, the price was not able to be "brought on screen" since the car wasn't able to be ordered. Still not a bad price for what you get.

We were under the impression that Ford isn't allowing orders for dealer stock. So are you guys ordering for stock with bogus customer names?

 

Not at all. Regular stock units for the lot (or should I say the showroom)These cars are just like the Shelby or the GT500. Every dealer gets 1 car guaranteed. After that, its all up to how your Mustang sales were compared to other stores. Now, just keep in mind, only 1 will be guaranteed to get scheduled. The other 2, lets wait and see.

 

Oh yes, dealer allocation, forgot about that. We should be good then.

 

Holy EDIT I can order one now. So what are the chances I'll find a dealer that will take an X plan pin

 

Not when it's $3,310 US. No way, no how.

Depends on whether Ford will allow this to be on X-Plan or not. Ususally when a limited run car comes out, right away they don't allow it, but after a few months, they allow it. We will know soon enough.
