My Bullitt
I test drove an 07 GT on several separate ocassions a few months back and was sold. Then I saw the press on the 08 Bullitt and decided to wait it out. This was a tough decision but I really loved what I saw in the Bullitt press.
I picked it up on Friday. The first thing I noticed was that the shifter felt better. I'm not exactly sure what the difference is but it feels better than stock.
The car does seem to handle better as well. I know that a lot of Mustang owners were dissapointed with the Bullitt's specs and many feel that the combination of nominal HP gain, modest suspension tuning and 3.73 gears doesn't add up to much of a difference. Well that may be but I can feel the difference. A GT500 it isn't but then again it isn't pretending to be.
The appearance of the car is a major selling point to me. I know it's a take it or leave it thing but I love the understated appearnace. The lack of exterior badging, additional lights, ponies or spoilers is cool to me. Also photos come close but really don't do the exterior color justice. The green-black metallic "Highland Green" is really amazing and definitely unique...A shade apart from any Racing Green variation I have ever seen.
I'll post some more pics if anyone cares to see but honestly the press photos are way better then mine.

Awesome news to hear! They're starting to filter thru. More on ebay too.
What number did you get?
What State are you in?
(like you're really home reading this instead of driving it! LOL)
