The most expensive Bullitt.
Are you actually surprized with the ADM's, the local dealer here has had a '07 Shelby GT since late summer, still in the same place, taking up show room floor space, $bottom line on sticker $48,000.00 and it is 5-spd not loaded.

some of them forget the game is selling cars
They didn't forget the game... they're patiently waiting for the right whale to step through the door! Obviously the dealer in question has plenty of money so they don't have the need to turn cars to make a profit...
Here's one from my local dealer today:
"Hi Mark,
There is a $10K premium on this vehicle. All RELEASE ONE Bullitts are Highland Green. RELEASE TWO Bullitts will be Black. No date yet.

Maroone Ford of Margate"
I told him that was absurd.

I looked at #45 a few weeks ago. The sticker was $31,075. Don't know what they ended up selling it for, but it's already gone.

Most dealers don't seem to be interested in selling these Bullitt quickly. If each dealership is lucky to get one, maybe two, then is seems the dealership would prefer to have it sit in the showroom because it is an attraction and could increase traffic to the dealership. Then when people realize they can't afford a Bullitt that has been marked up, then they will buy something else at the dealership.
On the inverse, people interested in the Bullitt may show up and get frustrated with the dealer not coming to grips with a fair price and swear to never purchase a vehicle from them. That's what happened to me.
My local dealership told me I could pick all the options on the Bullitt they were going to order next week, but when it showed up it the dealership was going to list it on ebay. Sooo... I can bid on the car I ordered. I drove an hour away and bought one on the lot somewhere else that very same day.

sorry, no pics. but, I just came from a dealer this morning and the ADM on a black Bullitt they had on the sales floor was "only" $4k + close to $2k in other add-ons... so it's "only" around $39k. better than the GT500 nearby that was jacked up around $15k in ADM. I am rather pleasantly surprised by the dash treatment - looks better up close. kind of reminds me of "gunmetal fish scales" - too bad I'm not in the market for a new car, and definitely not one at that price.
