Just bought Bullitt #4968
Traded my '07 GT for Bullitt #4968 yesterday. I'm so impressed with everything about this car. I've always thought the Bullitt Mustang was one of the coolest cars out there. Can't believe I actually own one now.
I didn't think the Bullitt would feel much different than the last two GT's I've owned, but it definitely is. The shifter is buttery smooth and the clutch is perfect. I had an MGW shifter in my '07 GT and I think the stock Bullitt shifter is infinitely superior. The MGW was a solid piece of equipment, but I hated how notchy and difficult to shift it was. I can shift the Bullitt with one finger it's so smooth. Not bashing the MGW, just not for me. The GT500 style seats and steering wheel make a huge difference in driving feel as well. Makes a regular GT feel cheap. Stock exhaust is perfect. Loud and throaty when you want it to be, but nice and quiet when cruising on the highway. Love the simplicity of the exterior. It's so menacing and classy at the same time. The car seems a lot more stable in corners than my GT's also. The driving experience is so enjoyable. I'm just a regular everyday normal guy, but this car makes me feel like a total badass when I get in it.
More pics to come later, but she is all stock. It came with all of the available options other than GPS and Shaker 1000.

I will snap some later for sure. Only thing I need to replace are the brake rotors (and pads while I'm at it). Typical rings of rust on all four rotors. Annoys the hell out of me, haha. Are the Bullitt rotors the same size as the 2005-2009 GT's? I'm pretty sure they are, but just want to double check.

Stop on over at www.imboc.com if you haven't already. Cool car!

Thanks man. The shifter is really nice. I tried to replicate it in my last GT with one of the 2010 style satin shift ***** from American Muscle, but it didn't come close to the feel or the look really.

Thanks guys. It feels really nice to have a car that I'm legitimately happy with. My two previous GT's just felt like constant "work in progress" projects. I kept adding parts and then deciding I didn't like them, replacing them with new things, etc. The Bullitt is so good stock, I have no desire to change anything on it. I just want to take good care of it and enjoy driving it.

If you are ever up in Temecula, bring your Bullitt by
If the Boss had not come out when it did, I would either be driving
a Bullitt or PJ "Boss." The Bullitt is so clean, it would be a sin
to add a spoiler.
