I can't believe that IMBOC's site crashed!!!
People had been waiting days for pics and reports. Counting down the hours and minutes. Then at 6pm- BANG! Nothing!!
All our hopes and dreams were crushed.

And now Autoblog has high res pics and some early impressions, and other sites have some reports as well.
And poor old IMBOC lies dead in the water.
By the time the site gets up and running everything will be a bit like yesterday's news.

 

I knew those Bullittheads opposed to the '08 BULLITT had a plan to sabotage the party and get their revenge.

 

lmao, and three cheers for AutoBlog for getting up some darn impressive shots as quick as they did! I first checked in over there and they had about 12 pics up, when all was said and done I found myself with 65 pics saved to the old laptop!

 

I saw the first pic in the "reveal" thread, but that was it. The site was down when I tried to return to the thread.

BTW Whammer, you belong there where posts are deleted if you are not in the BULLITT image and likeness.

It seems fine for everyone else to rip the new Bullitt- oh they are just being honest, etc.
But when I post my honest thoughts/opinions, somehow I'm to be ridiculed for it???

It's fine if folks don't like the Bullitt. Some perfer the GT, some like the V6, others the GT/CS. But some of the comments are so negative that it's amazing that the person writing them even likes Mustangs!!!

Again I will state- the Bullitt really isn't a big surprise. I think most of us knew what it was basically going to look like. The problem with some people is- they spent months on these boards working themselves into a frenzy. Listening to people post hype about 400hp, etc. YOU guys over hyped this car, YOU guys made it into something that could never live up to the expectations that YOU created.

 

There is nothing wrong other than if you want to trash TMS or its members at other sites you have the right to do so but then you will not get a free pass around here. Not while I am around.

The TMS administration is dedicated to the core with many loyal members, who honor free speech as long as profanity or personal attacks are not included, therefore, I take offense if you trash either one.

And you should know what they say about one's integrity. You should also know I've frequently visited IMBOC since its inception. With that said, I understand the reasons why you offered IMBOC complimentary comments and submission.

Anyone can make a mistake but resorting to perjury is usually not the brightest of ideas, which brings up the following question. What makes you think there are no IMBOC members who oppose and dislike the '08 BULLITT? FYI, there are plenty, with a good portion of them having the '01 BULLITT GT.

Make sure you find them whiners and put them in their place. Just keep in mind your posts might be deleted by the very congregation you are complimenting.

 

I'm well aware that IMBOC has many 08 Bullitt haters. It's generally human nature to prefer what you have and dismiss what you don't.

Your in the state of Calif. aren't you George? I'm betting you probably favor it as the best state in the U.S. And your city is the best in the state, and your street is the best in your city, and your house is the best on the block.
It's just kinda the way people work.

In the end I'm getting a Bullitt for me- not for unknown people on an internet forum.
I love driving my 05 GT and the Bullitt looks like an upgrade in many areas- so I'm sure it will bring a smile to my face everyday. And that's really what all this is about.

 

George is in prison. He was incarcerated for beating the crap out of a Mustang poster who p!ssed him off.
