HG for halfway between invoice & MSRP...

... in Nebraska. MSRP is $32,705. I spoke Brian Rathbone and asked point blank if he was willing to negotiate, he seems to be motivated.

Fixed? A large portion of the Bullitts listed on eBay were listed as used for some reason. Obviously you'll clarify this in the buying process, but just because it says used on eBay doesn't make the car used....

If you looked at the 2 or 3 other condition listings to include at the top, sellers discription it showed NEW.

As minimal interest continues on eBay for the Bullitt and more cars are listed, it appears dealers are beginning to show flexibility on negotiating its sale price. The last time I looked there were only a handful of offers and not even reaching invoice pricing.

Good for you Roy.

It's been quite a while since 2001.

I think we have shared that familiar feeling since. And quite a few times too!

Yup. The smart dealers have already sold theirs at or below MSRP.

Some of the cars now on eBay have been relisted multiple times with little change in pricing. I guess they just are 'hopeful'

I watched the first 20 or so ebay auctions for Bullitts since I was in the process of buying a Mustang GT at the time. Like I said, a lot of them were listed in ebay as used when they obviously weren't. Just because it's listed that way on ebay doesn't define the condition of the vehicle. I'm guessing ebay has different auction listing fees for new and used vehicles....

I'd contact the dealer and ask them for you, but frankly someone who's planning on buying the car should be asking the dealer that and many, many more questions. It's awesome seeing some rational pricing on these cars and I'm happy for all the new Bullitt owners getting some fantastic machines.

Precisely, you can't take an Ebay listing word for word!

A Black Bullitt with all options is on the raised platform by the corner @ World Ford on S. Dixie Hwy in Miami. I stopped by and spoke to Mike Kashen, no specifics on price but appeared eager to negotiate.

I just stopped by my dealer to see what production status is of my Bullitt. It is being produced next week.

He is a small dealer just north of Pittsburgh but seems to do some business in 'Stangs. He has had two Shelby GT's and a Shelby GT-500 sitting in his showroom for some time - with the $10M ADM sticker prominently displayed on it. I noticed that this time the GT-500 now had a sold sign on the window. So I asked him how much it went for. He told me MSRP. Looks like dealers are finally biting the bullet (yes, that pun is intended)

I also asked him if he had ordered any more Bullitts. He said that he has an order in for a black one for dealer stock but does not know if he will get it. What is it with these dealers and their black Bullitts??!!

Black Mustangs sell well, and many dealers don't care about the 'Bullitt' connection

My guess is so many of the Bullitt's are being special ordered and being done so in green, that the dealers are having an easier time ordering stock in black.

I doubt it's any easier to order black over green or vice versa.
