To my knowledge Ford planned on making 7,000 Bullitts in 2008. That didn't happen. They let it bleed over into 2009 production year and it STILL didn't happen. Ford made a total of 6,634 2008/09 Bullitts which includes two pre-production cars.
I doubt we will see another. I was 14 years old when the movie came out and it was the first movie I ever saw without my parents. We sneaked in and saw it for free. It was nothing short of an awesome movie back then -- who cared about the story-line, did you see that chase? I am 57 years old now, and this is my favorite Mustang of the four I've owned, 67 (200cu), 69 (351cu), 89 (5.0L), & 2008 (4.6L.) |
