Very nice. The window is a nice touch. I wondered how it would look on the new Bullitt.
I would love a set of those BF Goodrich tires. Did the wheels get damaged during removal of the old tire and installation of the new tire? What do you think of the new tires vs. to old tires?

. I drove them in the rain a couple days ago for the first time. They handled just fine. I really have too few miles on them to give any worthwhile feedback. I'd like to say I chose them for improved performance, handling, braking, , etc. The honest answer, I simply like the NT's on my car
? I'm no mechanic. But experience has taught me that when you touch one thing, you almost always affect something else. Everything I've done so far has been pretty much cosmetic. Just changing out the shift **** was a pain. Discovered the Bullitt shift **** and collar come off together as one unit. I've really got to do my homework to feel comfortable about mechanical changes affecting suspension, warranty, etc. For now, maybe I'll just toss a couple bags of sand in the trunk for effect
.chip
Nah, I'd leave the suspension alone.
The SHR louvers actually look much better on the Bullitt than I thought they would. I wonder what it would look like if SHR came out with a similar set of louvers but with more slats.

The exterior would look nice with more slats; but you'd sacrafice visiblility from the inside-out. I think SHR went with 5 slats as a compromise between appearance and functionality.
Remember, the Bullitt is supposed to be a daily driver. And you paid for a Bullitt-specific suspension that is indeed unique. You won't gain a whole lot in useable handling with a drop. And as you said, one change brings about other changes (some not so desireable). The car looks very nice as is!
Agree on the FRPP kit as well, but it won't lower the car a full 1.5", as the Bullitt is already lowered about .25" over a base GT.
Additionally, the Bullitt suspension is supposedly designed to be less harsh than the FRPP kit. It's really a compromise between the base GT and the FRPP suspension.
I love my FRPP kit, but it's not for everyone

Regarding tire noise--you'll get used to it
I had the louvers installed by a local body shop I trust. They do this kind of work for a living and I know my limitations. They're flush with the body exterior, they don't leak, they preserved my OEM glass, and you'd never know anyone disturbed the interior rear panels for the installation.
man the louvers look GREAT! i say put the springs on it if you like them. keep the factory ones for collectibility if there is going to be any. do what you want and enjoy the car!
