The SHR louvers look great on there!!!! Might I suggest the FRPP suspension for your ride, it'll drop it about 1.5" and handle great!

Very nice. The window is a nice touch. I wondered how it would look on the new Bullitt.

I would love a set of those BF Goodrich tires. Did the wheels get damaged during removal of the old tire and installation of the new tire? What do you think of the new tires vs. to old tires?

Those SHR louvres sure blend the 68 retro look into the lines of the 08 Bullitt body style! Beautiful install job! Beautiful car!

I had the tires changed out at the dealership I bought the car from . I waited 3 days for the Service Mgr to order the necessary part for their tire machine to ensure the Bullitt wheels were protected. I still have the OEM tires with less than 2K miles on them. I'll probably swap 'em back in the winter (if I drive my car). I don't plan on taking the car to the track, but ocasionally I'll do some "spirited" driving. One of the biggest complaints I've heard about the BFG KDW NT's is "they're noisy" Personally I can't notice any difference in noise between the KDWS and the NT's. But maybe the noise from the tires and noise from the exhasut is just music to my ears. I drove them in the rain a couple days ago for the first time. They handled just fine. I really have too few miles on them to give any worthwhile feedback. I'd like to say I chose them for improved performance, handling, braking, , etc. The honest answer, I simply like the NT's on my car

Thanks Danny. I'd really like to drop it too. I'm just hesitant to start messing with the suspension so far. I've looked at Eibach, but not FRPP. Ford dropped the car ~ 1/4 inch. I wonder why they stopped there? I'm no mechanic. But experience has taught me that when you touch one thing, you almost always affect something else. Everything I've done so far has been pretty much cosmetic. Just changing out the shift **** was a pain. Discovered the Bullitt shift **** and collar come off together as one unit. I've really got to do my homework to feel comfortable about mechanical changes affecting suspension, warranty, etc. For now, maybe I'll just toss a couple bags of sand in the trunk for effect.

The car doesn't need to be lowered. The Bullitt suspension is nicely tuned as it is.

Nah, I'd leave the suspension alone.

The SHR louvers actually look much better on the Bullitt than I thought they would. I wonder what it would look like if SHR came out with a similar set of louvers but with more slats.

The exterior would look nice with more slats; but you'd sacrafice visiblility from the inside-out. I think SHR went with 5 slats as a compromise between appearance and functionality.

Thanks RC and Wolf. Nothing like a voice of reason to help snap me back to my senses. As is, the car feels good from a handling perspective. For now I'll just hang on to my money for gas and wax!

Don't lower the car. I think you will reduce it's drivability and you may bottom out when you least expect it!
I love those louvers!
Where they hard to install?
The car is perfect!!!!!

Remember, the Bullitt is supposed to be a daily driver. And you paid for a Bullitt-specific suspension that is indeed unique. You won't gain a whole lot in useable handling with a drop. And as you said, one change brings about other changes (some not so desireable). The car looks very nice as is!

Agreed on the SHR Louvers!

Agree on the FRPP kit as well, but it won't lower the car a full 1.5", as the Bullitt is already lowered about .25" over a base GT.
Additionally, the Bullitt suspension is supposedly designed to be less harsh than the FRPP kit. It's really a compromise between the base GT and the FRPP suspension.
I love my FRPP kit, but it's not for everyone

I had the louvers installed by a local body shop I trust. They do this kind of work for a living and I know my limitations. They're flush with the body exterior, they don't leak, they preserved my OEM glass, and you'd never know anyone disturbed the interior rear panels for the installation.
