i watched that episode where they did the build for Chad. He seemed like a heck of nice guy although he didn't seem to be able to turn his head very well. Racing accident? Well if anyone deserves a rebuild of the original i would say it would be Steve's son.

Any online link to the episode? I don't get the DYI channel.
And yes, Chad was in a serious accident in '06 at the Rolex 24 Hours in Daytona. Besides some leg and rib injuries he also suffered some damage to a couple of vertebre.

Seriously though, I would think he would branch out a bit. Maybe a Mach or something? I love my dad, but I'll never have 3, gold 1997 Taurus station wagons.

I think if Steve McQueen drove a Taurus station wagon he would probably branch out then.
