i watched that episode where they did the build for Chad. He seemed like a heck of nice guy although he didn't seem to be able to turn his head very well. Racing accident? Well if anyone deserves a rebuild of the original i would say it would be Steve's son.

Great pics. Thanks.

I hope the '68 has A/C and modern, upgraded suspension.

Any online link to the episode? I don't get the DYI channel.
And yes, Chad was in a serious accident in '06 at the Rolex 24 Hours in Daytona. Besides some leg and rib injuries he also suffered some damage to a couple of vertebre.

They're great cars, but do you think he may have too many?

(Mexican accent) You are correct; my friend. I may not always drive, but when
i do, it is a Ford Mustang.

Seriously though, I would think he would branch out a bit. Maybe a Mach or something? I love my dad, but I'll never have 3, gold 1997 Taurus station wagons.

I no longer have the '68 or the '01, just the memories. It was an exciting time though. Chad must be having the time of his life.

I think if Steve McQueen drove a Taurus station wagon he would probably branch out then.
