the Bullitt my way

Yup just messing with the bullitt (the way I'd have done it) ..but this is a GT390. Not a bullitt logo in sight plus some mods to the body and wheels.
Also a close up so you can see the changes clearly
Enjoy

Very nice! If I get a Bullitt, it'll probably wind up looking a lot like that.

No badges, no logos, no bullsh*t..." And a double vented hood?

I could live with that!

The big rear meats got my attention and the actual "flow-thru" grill up front.
The hood and "Sport" mirrors provides the "cherry on top" to it all.

It's amazing Doug, how you make a "few" changes to create what could
be a stellar Mustang edition.
I hope someone at Ford looks this over.

Ya know...those mirrors look good on there!
very nice job on the car, that is more of a tribute to 390GT than anything I have sen yet!

btw...the view of the back end of that car as you pull up behind it would nothing short of breathtaking!

yeah since 3DCarbon has been working with Ford for a couple years now I dont see why they didnt use their hood off of the white w/ red stripes Boy Racer, wouldve kept the car clean and made it look more destinguished, then added the Agent 47 Mirrors and then it wouldve been a much better Bullitt IMO

The new Ford CAI probably wouldn't have worked with that hood. One article read that they did a lot of test fitting with the new CAI so that it would provide a tight seal to keep engine heat out. Since they want to sell this CAI to the average Joe on the street, they had to make it work with the stock hood.

Yeah, that's a concern for those of us potentially wanting to swap out the hoods. Hopefully there's some way around that.

It would make sense for Ford to be a little more open in disclosing the reasoning why they elected the BULLITT's particulars rather than keeping the interested guessing.

I preferred the GT500 Concept's hood over the production version until the Ford explained the logic for the change. It made sense and most got over it. It might make sense for the BULLITT's specs but it would be nice if Ford would provide the details of their decisions, perhaps preventing BULLITT owners from making a mistake.

I dunno guys I'm going with cost on a new hood. This is a limited production car and hardly any major peices are custom for it. A hood would have been expensive for just 7000 or so cars..although ford could always do the 99+ cobra manuver and sell the hood on all future v-6 models to make up for it

I remember many Cobra guys were less than amused when they saw their precious hoods on the V6s.

It was like, WHAT THE DUCK..#*!$@****%$@!!!!!

Another great job by Doug

You know what the saddest part about the chop is that it would NOT have been that expensive nor time consuming for Ford to make it look like that in the first place. I'm still really pi$$ed at what a letdown the 08 Bullitt is
