Nice car....what a pity. Maybe someone was trying to re-enact the chase scene.

It doesn't appear that the Bullit was T-boned by another vehicle, unless it was a very fast moving motorcycle. I'm guessing the driver probably lost control and spun into a tree or pole.

Ouch! When I saw the first pic that comes up of the passenger side I was thinking, "what's wrong with it?", Then I clicked the driver side view. I just do not see how the driver could have escaped without being seriously hurt. Would have be one lucky SOB to survive that one. Sometimes the awesome power can make you do stupid things. Hope the driver is ok, but looks really bad.

If you look closely at the right side, you'll see significant gaps between the door, fender, and quarter panel. That means the car suffered a "banana" condition from being impacted on the opposite side. The unibody is seriously out whack at every frame control point. It's truly an ugly hit.

Def looks like it slid into a telephone pole or tree.

The instrument cluster showing "driver door ajar" makes me sad.

I can't tell for sure, but it looks like the e-brake is on and the car is in first gear. Kind of odd that it's "parked" correctly huh?

It looks like the driver would've been crushed, hope he's alive though...

Might have been done by the tow truck operator so the car wouldn't shift on the flatbed.
