There'll never be any factory louvers because they're a safety impediment.

Oh, that's what side-view mirrors are for.

I like it, though the cost of changing mine will deter me from ever doing it that and the fact that I don't have a Bullit so why use the seats? Still they look great.

Fair enough. Has there been a lot of incidences where louvered Mustangs caused accidents? I didn't realize the liability was so high.

It's definately a photoshop, the seat inserts look off to me, and the ambient lighting was the first thing I noticed other than the seats. And Im sure that the Ford GT is a special case, if you can afford to drive that, I dont think you're too worried about insurance, and its costs.

I'm not sure Ford would require any empirical data on that to rule out louvers. There may be Federal laws in effect to prevent them from offering such an add on to begin with. I other words, the Mustang has already passed Federal safety standards with its basic design. Add louvers to the rear windows at the factory - effectively reducing visibility - and suddenly the Feds might not pass the car.

The Ford GT above is a whole different animal. Its entire design does not lend itself to great visibility from the get. But it's a specialty vehicle, and so the standards for it are probably a bit different.

That's possible but then what about Roush, Saleen, and other aftermarket tuners? I would think they would be concerned with the implication of adding louvers and liability.

Maybe they should take it off the main page if it's a fake.
