There are videos on YouTube that have the sound (search for 2008 Bullitt). However, I am in the process of getting a video tape converted into digital format of a back-to-back comparison of the stock GT and Bullitt exhaust sounds. Hopefully that will be available soon.

What I have heard so far is the 2008 is actually a lower tone and more of a rumble than the movie clip's '68 GT. The '68 sounds a little higher pitch and a bit more raw. At least to my ears comparing the Edmunds video to the movie DVD. So IMO, Ford wasn't quite able to match the 'Master DVD' exactly. The 2008 still sounds great!
(I'm not a muscle car expert by any means and this is my first Mustang. But I am a tone freak when it comes to live blues guitar with different woods/pickups/tube amp combinations. So in my language, the '08 is more of a modern Gibson 490 humbucker vs the '68 has more of the edginess of Gibson original & 57 PAF's )

Absolute!! Can't wait to drive the 'rumble'!
(I was just doin' some fishin' to see if we got any blues freak bullittheads! oh, and btw, I prefer pure PAF's thru a Marshall Plexi - from the 'EC creamy woman tone' thru a Dallas Treble Boost, to the raw edge of EVH 80's 'brown soun'! The PAF tone is a sure head turner on stage every time! It is baaaad aaaass!)

NICE RIDE!!!! I have not seen one in the Detroit area. I was at the North American International Auto Show yesterday and did not see one in the Ford display. I was disappointed that it was not spotlighted. If you don't mind me asking, did they do a "dealer markup" over sticker? Congrats...

No dealer markup, but I did pay MSRP. Tried using the xplan at 3 different dealers (this one included) but no go. Maybe I would have found one eventually with time, but I wanted the car NOW, which is what they bank on I'm sure.
It was a good choice for me, I'm really happy with this purchase
