Saleen/Parnelli Jones S302 On the Ground!
A couple of the rare Parnelli Jones S302 Saleens have popped up on eBay with photos of the cars in the showroom!

I was wondering when they would appear. It seemed as though the whole thing disappeared into thin air, no news/rumors, and havent heard anyone on the forums try and order one. Has anyone here ordered/recieved one?

One of my best friends, back home in New England, has his. Arrived in an enclosed Trailer last Saturday. Number 39. He has a lot of photo's including the build of it. The photo's are over on my Thunderbird site, under 'muscle cars'.

Bottom line: Most people will likely view those prices as too much money for a Mustang.
Actually, George, look at the seats in that Parnelli Jones - I bet the Bullitt will sport a horizontal stitch design similar to that (maybe even use the same supplier as Saleen), except, of course, the Bullitt will be all in black.
I do like the wheels on the Parnelli Jones, though. IMHO, that is the perfect ride height, offset, wheel size and tire width for the new Stang.
That lower GT500 valence used on the Saleen would look good on the Bullitt, too!

I'd be real interested in those wheels. I was looking at mini-lites but at $400 each AND not but 17x7... I had to pass. That 7 spoke PJ wheel is the only thing I would consider to replace my 18" polished bullitts...

Those mini-lites are awesome... and the PJ wheels are a great modern interpretation
