I have a difficult time imagining that I would ever consider using an item that came off a 'Sally' on my car.

Person A: "Check out my new fender badges...don't they look awesome?"

Person B: "Cool man, wherever did you get the idea to use those?"

Person A: "Well you see, there's this new 'Sally' edition mustang and the badges are unique to that model..."

Person B: "Isn't that the pink mustang?"

 

Person A: "Yeah you gotta problem with that! "

 

My two kids current ages 8 and 11 nicknamed my 2003 Mach 1 fours ago Mustang Sally... My Mach 1 does not have a V6 nor did I have it repainted pink... But they like the name from the song which they like to sing with the cd when on road trips... Is this car for alot of people - no... Nice tie-in with the song, maybe they'll throw in a sample cd of road songs with Mustang Sally with every car sold ( not a bad idea)... I would love to see the fender badges for the Mustang Sally - they could always put a photo of Barbie on it......I know my daughter would love it.......RANDY

 

Now somewhere, granted on the internet, I read Ford was trying to set up a Susan B. Komen edition stang that was going to be pink. Part of the sales price would be donated to the Komen Foundation.

It is a well known fact to most that Ford is a huge supporter of the Komen Foundation. It was a "news site" but again it was not one I had heard of before and honestly can't remember. Now if they came out with a car like that then you can bet the would sale, with survivors most likely buying them and just for the fact that all the Komen items are selling everywhere pretty well.

I can't find the site again and it was a link from a link from a link type thing. One Mustang leads to another.

 

i forget where, but i heard about this probably at least a month ago. all the details are inline with what you've posted 05stangkc, with the fender emblems and nameplates, and the steering wheel. i'd also heard/read that there would be a unique stitching option on the interior, which i believe was said to be pink. Also, it will only be available in 3 colors, white and 2 shades of silver. i'll look around and see if i can find where i'd seen this info...
