A nice idea, but I can't see us getting any SEs until the new 2010 model. It'd require too much testing using the current body and it's attributed cooling aspects.

I can see the TT v6 being used as a Shelby GT350 for the 2010 though. That'd make room for the "standard" V8 in the Ford line-up. Otherwise, the two engines would be rather close in BHP terms.

It would be a perfect way to introduce the TT V6 into the Mustang lineup. But your probably right, we're getting no SE for 2009 unless they put out a special GT500 or keep the Bullitt for '09. I've heard from a former Ford employee about a possible Mystic Red GT500 but according to him it should have been out this year.

They've said there will be SE's every six months?
I think we can expect at least another SE before the 2010

How about the Terlingua Mustang program? Does that count as an SE?

I suppose it could if the SGT does.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ford offers their own 'souped up' V6 Mustang, adding a few FRPP parts. They seem to have been leaning toward it. That would be an easy SE.
