Great, another limited edition with crazy ADM's which no one will be able to buy.
Can we cut the BS Ford and make the cars avail to every one!!!

Well, I'll be there on Sat and let you all know. I think a convertible Shelby GT, but there were reports of Shelby being involved in the Bullitt, were there not??? That would be a nice place for a debut. I'll make sure I take some pictures.
Either way I'll post them up. Unless it is a real let down, especially compared to all the great cars that will be there. This auction always makes me wish I had some $$$ to spend.
EDIT - The car will be shown between 6-8pm. I am going in the morning before the crowds get out of hand, so it looks like I will miss it. The article I found states it will be shown "live" on tv. On the Speed channel I think.

It's a Convertible GT-H....
Carroll Shelby plans to produce a grand total of 500 new Shelby GT-H Convertibles only available as rentals through the Hertz Fun Collection.
Expect the ragtop customized at to at Shelby's plant outside Las Vegas to match the numbers for last year's GT-H coupe. That should mean around 325 horsepower. Look for similarly distinctive bodywork, which on the coupe included a special scoop hood, side scoops, custom fascia, and gold Hertz stripes.
First one will be introduced at the Palm Beach Barrett-Jackson Auction, over the weekend. Shelby and Mark Fields, Ford's President of the Americas, will auction off serial number 1, with the proceeds going to Carroll Shelby's Children's Foundation.

I'm with Sean on this one. I think it will be GT-H verts. I think they will hold the BULLIT until later this year later summer early fall viewings. GT-H verts will not have an impact on sales of Mustangs as they will not be sold...right away at least. They don't want to tank one sale just for the chance at the next...they want one after another to keep interest in the Mustang line.
