Lightbulb 2005-2009 Mach 1 Real!?

So here is the deal, I personally own a 2010 Mustang gt in grabber blue, That how I met my friend who has a 2006 mustang gt. Anyways, after hanging out a one of the local car shows he brings up to me that his car in the FORD VIN SYSTEM. As in the ford company.... They ran the vin and it came up in THEIR system, as a 2006 Mach 1. Now I thought this was very interesting because he ran this at a dealership and double checked the vin and everything, and it still came up as a 2006 mach 1. And he has picture proof of this on their computer that I will try to get if anyone wants it. Also, his car just looks like a gt, it is performance white and someone put on a gt/cs front bumper and there are some other modifications. but if anybody knows anything about this that would be neat to find out. Thank you so much for your time and have a great day.

I do not claim to be the ultimate expert on this subject, but as far as I know -- there was no Mach 1 from Ford in 2006

He should ask the dealer to print him a copy of the window sticker, if there was such an option from Ford, the window sticker would show it

Must had been some glitch in the system, as there was never a Mach 1 variant during the entire 2005-14 S197 generation. However, the Boss 302 did return for the 2012-13 model years.

I haven't even heard of the mach 1 in the s197 model. Would be cool though if they slipped it in there and didn't tell anyone just as a surprise but very unlikely because they wouldn't make any money by not telling anyone.
