Are you guys retarded? You're thanking Shelby for trying to make money? The company ain't tryin' to do us any favors buds...

Not to mention, what is "Shelby" doing here for us besides using FORD RACING packages (already available through FORD) to pretend like their overpriced "Shelby GT" has true Shelby substance?

This car will be overpriced and marked up. Thanks?

And just where do you think Shelby got the parts to produce the original, now legendary GT350's and GT500's that are worth over a quarter million dollars? Think he forged them on his chicken farm in Texas?? Shelby is doing what they always have done, improving on the basic product that Ford manufactures, by installing the correct components to give the Mustang GT better performance and handling, and attempting to do it at a reasonable price point. I don't know if I'd "thank" them for it, but I sure do appreciate the effort. When was last time you saw a Saleen or Roush Mustang that was both high performance AND a reasonable price??

So THAT'S where this shiney new oil filter came from! The chicken fram, er... FARM!

AmyB if you read this, replace the GT on the fender with a Shelby specific badge like the GT-H. Seeing 'GT' twice on the same side looks silly. Otherwise, you Shelby GT is starting to grow on me.

Say, who needs nitrous when ya gots citrus? Grabbah, Dabbah, Doooooooooo!

I sort of agree with him, he wasn't really talking "crap" or insulting Mr. Shelby, he was merely speaking his mind, which apparently he isnt allowed to do.

Oh, how can you possibly have a bad day at band practice? Blow a rod on your trumpet? Don could probally do that . hehe

I'd like to say that Amy's involvement alone in this forum has steered me towards the shelby even more. It is not very common to have a company CEO actually take time to address questions and concerns for their product, especially a company as large as Shelby.

One thing for Amy, any way to make sure the dealers don't add mark ups on these? I remember hearing Carol himself was very unhappy with the markups on the GT 500's.

I thought the GT badges that were left on was in bad taste as well.

Sounds like the powers that be should listen more to AmyB.

From everything that I have seen she has a good vision for the Shelby cars but seems to be squashed by the bean-counters.
