Yes, poor little dear amyb should have not become a target just for doing a little patronizing and scolding while lacking knowledge of the very principles she was preaching. It didn't take but a few posts for her to dispose the reasoning of her presence. The good thing for her is she learned real quick is not too smart pretending to be an expert when not knowing the subject matter. Win some, lose some.

They are just being smart a*ses with each other....no harm as far as I see. Scroll back a few pages and I think they even discuss it a little. As long as no one is calling each other bad names like "chevy lover" its all good IMO

The different sets of standards set by amyb and Shelby Autos.
For starters, neither one belongs in these forums. If they want to promote and advertise their products they should do it in The Marketplace forums or pay their way like the rest of the sponsors, post some ads, and pay for them. It should not be a free ride. It takes money to run TMS so the burden falls on the ads, the store, and the conscious members who contribute. Carroll Shelby and Shelby Autos charge for everything they can and understandably so but they are certainly not giving anything away here, if anything, they are doing everything in their power to raise the price standard and demand of their products which transalates to preventing many of their faithful to realize their dreams and buy one of their cars. So who is doing who a favor? Why should TMS be any different?
Second, the courtesy and freedoms which has been extended to amyb or anyone else who wishes to join TMS are not the same ones Shelby
Autos offers. They have what amounts to a basic form of automotive segregation where many have been denied the opportunity to voice their opinions if certain criterias are not met. Their arrogance is no secret in the Mustang community and I fail to see why TMS has to roll the red carpet for them when they would not do the same for many of us, you possibly included.
