That's the best SGT I've seen yet. How much did the extras run, and how did you order them? Is this all being delivered via Shelby?

Thanks for the comments and welcome everyone. It has been a very long wait as AFBLUE and Webba can tell you and I am still 2-3 weeks out for receiving the finished product.
Blip..........I think I may need a cartoon of the finished product to use as an avatar! I have admired your work for some time. Very nice indeed. The wheels are an updated Mach 1 touch from the early 70's.
06GT thank you for the comment. I don't even want to think about totaling everything up! But the Whipple, SuperSnake Brake kit, CS6 hood, black upper and lower powdercoated grilles, gauge package, and functional brake duct kit are all Shelby installed at the factory in Vegas. The wheels are Carroll Shelby signatures ordered directly from the wheel company through my selling dealer who is a distributor and shipped directly to SAI. The tires I purchased from Tire Tack because SAI was recommending Nitto's and I have had them before and preferred BFG's. I had them drop shipped directly to SAI. The other mods listed are pending the arrival and some are in process and will be ready within the next month or so.

This is a pic of the custom Carbon Fiber GT500 steering wheel I am waiting for. Should be here in about 2 more weeks. This is a concept drawing, I will be receiving the prototype #1. It was scheduled to be on display at the upcoming LA auto show until I purchased it. Should be pretty cool looking. The stock shifter boot is also being removed and taken apart to be restiched in matching "Red" thread to the steering wheel. The red line between the carbon fiber layers is Amazon Basin "Bloodwood"

Just got off of the phone with a very good friend of mine who arrived in Vegas today for a conference. He spent a few hours at SAI and as he was getting there they were taking my car out of the mod shop for a test drive. Looks like I may be getting a call in the next couple of days for final payment and a flagged shipping date. Could be home "safe and sound" by the middle or end of next week! Oh happy day!

I know of a guy that paid $50K for a mint, used Viper and then proceeded to dump about $50K into it (twin turbos, BBK, susp, etc.) and he is so proud of that car. As any one would be of a 1300HP street car.
I'll be honest, when my Grabber GT arrives and I have all my mods done the following week (blower, susp, exhaust, etc) the tab (car + mods) will be in the $37K range. Now, my car won't have the same appeal as a Shelby ("Those things look freakin' sweet!" - Peter Griffin voice), but I'm gonna love it! Why? B/c I love Mustangs, and the best kind of Mustang is a one best suited to the owners taste.
As long as you feel good about where the money went that's all that matters in this hobby my friend! More power to ya! Especially when it's via a Whipple supercharger!

Mark, spoke to Bud today. The car is finished. It has been sent to the detail shop. I am waiting for John to call me for final payment, should be today, and then flag for shipping 3-5 more days and then the 4 day trip to the East Coast. Your car could still make it to SAI before I get mine. The race is on! Just remember that if your car gets to SAI before mine gets home, it dosen't mean that yours is faster!
