On a side note, people have been complaining that this car only makes 325 hp but that's with the conservative canned Ford tune. Take it to an experienced tuner and have it tuned on a dyno and there's prob more left in her. I'm now realizing that the GT500 is out of my price range so this may be my car. Just need to see the real deal once it's released.
Nice video! But....why must nearly every performance car video have to show vehicles drifting!!!! I guess i will never understand the attraction to drifting-too old I guess.
On another note, love the lettering on the decklid!

I like road racing, especially on real roads (Le Mans, Nurburgring, even Watkins Glen and other road coarse type tracks) the best cause that most realistically models what we'll really face in the real world and challenges all aspects of a car's performance envelope.
Now the Cannonball Rally of old, now THERE was a race!
PS. I really like the Shelby lettering too, much better done than on the GT500 (though they do need to lose the redundant "GT" lettering on the front fenders).

You will find this quote:
"We have changed the fender badge, we will let you know what it is when we do...
Amy"
Showing that Shelby has already listened to the public and addressed your concern.<!-- / message -->

The development track that Ford uses in Dearborn has surfaces that equal or are worse than Detroit area roads. Those things are ROUGH!! These were used in the development of S197 suspension.
Have you driven the S197 car yet? Take one for a test drive.
The upcoming Camaro and Challenger will make these discussions a moot point, as I believe the Mustang will get IRS to be competitive.

Just wish there were a few more color selections.
(Shelby wheels would be another nice option.)

X2
There must be a braking upgrade....the way they talk about the brakes in that video does not sound like the stock brakes I know...

This is really the main attraction of the car IMO. If one was to have the drag, supercharger and handling pack installed by their dealer they would void the warranty but with the Shelby GT you still retain the 6 year 60000 mile powertrain warranty.

Are you sure on that last part Freak? 1 Bullitt posed that very same question, amongst others, about the warranty to Amyb. She was suppose to check and get back to Bullitt. I have'nt seen a reply yet. Bullitt, you did'nt receive a pm from Amy on this; did you ????
