He is going to send me pictures but anyone up in Vegas can verify anyhting? One thing came to mind if they were storing them for Saleen but don't think that is it.

They are doing a remake of the Tarlingua (sp) Shelby racers from the 60's. Allegedly they are to have 5.4's and are for race only. More info coming soon I have read.

They are special "CA Only" Orange with Silver stripes Shelby GTs since Ford has not built the 08' yet I can only guess they are 07's and these are the last of the contracted 6000 units. Could be wrong...but as I said...a guess!

This is a sad thought. I cannot even begin to think how much those dealers in California are going to mark this thing up to!

As you well know, they can mark them up all they want but that doesn't mean they will sale them.

Many dealers are now having a tough time getting rid of their 07 SGTs for invoice. I think when the 2008.5 Bullitt comes out, it's gonna dramatically/negatively impact 08SGT sales. Maybe thats the reason the 08 SGTs are ending with job 1 and Bullitts are beginning in job2.

Well they arent fake anymore. They are being used to keep the scoop down to the hood.

Is the rivet scoop still a fake like my GT appearance scoop? The G.O. Shelby GT is probably going to be my next Mustang.I have family in S.Cal so getting one won't be an issue.

Yes the scoop is still non functional, but now real rivets are used to attach the scoop to the hood.
