Awesome pic. I met a guy in Denver who owns two BJ verts, with consecutive #s! He just had Shelby add a supercharger to one of them. Awesome cars, but the actual shade of red is not what I've seen in any photos, mine or anyone elses. It must be one of those photographic anomalies or something, but the "Barrett-Jackson Red" is hard to capture digitally. It looks nice in person, but downright PINK in some of my pics, and hard to describe. (That's my car with the red fender stripes, and yes, that is a Super Snake in the other photo.)

08SGT2290 BJ Special Edition

I took delivery today of a new 08 SGT/BJ Convertable shipped in from Chandler, AZ late this evening. Been working on the purchase for about 4 weeks now.

These are really nice cars and very special, since most of the 2008 SGTs were Vista Blue with a small run of about 300 SGT-C in Grabber Orange (California Dealers) and a run of 100 SGTs BJ Special Editions in Black for Arizona Only Ford Dealers.

Just my thoughts...........

I am not very good at posting pictures, but as soon as I get my stripes redone in about a week or so depending on the weather, I will post some up, I have some right now, but the dealer, for god knows why, restriped the car with silver Shelby stripes on my SGT2290/BJ and I have to restripe the car to get it back to factory red, I don't have a clue why they did this, the car is new and was never registared.......

GG

You don't want to draw attention to yourself like that, huh?

08SGT-BJ Stripes - Stealth Mode

Well after a failed attempt at removing the stripes without pulling the paint off the bumpers last week, both bumpers were repainted and I am now in the stealth mode of an 08SGT-BJ with no stripe package and the scoop removed.

Paint to cure for about 10 days and while the bumpers cure, replacement Shelby GT red side stripes and hood stripes will be applied and then let the hood stripes cure for three days in sun if it will quit raining in Arkansas and have the newly painted red hood scoop riveted back on.

Thumbs up Finally Nice Weather & Pictures

Here are some pictures:

The pictures have a slight pink look to them, not sure why, but trust me it is Colorado red. Now that the stripes and scoop are taken care of time to enjoy my car.
