I have some concerns and comments I want to make regarding all of the post revolving around the Shelby GT and Shelby in general.
Alot of folks have stated outright that they do not like or are not impressed with the newest offering from Shelby. Thats perfectly ok that its not your cup of tea. We (TMS) encourage you to speak your mind regarding how you feel about a certain product, change, etc... We (TMS) also encourage you to speak your mind with respect and intelligence, something of which it seems some people have forgotten how to do.
I've noticed a large number of post and threads bashing the new Shelby. While thats ok to state your opinion, just outright degrading of the name, product, people involved and just plain insulting does nothing but show a lack of respect.
Post that only say "it looks like ****" are pointless and have no place on this board. If you are going to say something to that extent, why not put more thought into it, provide some constructive critcism and maybe express why you think it doesnt appeal to you. It will help us all in the end, as we have readers from all types of companies and even company representitives here on the forum (Amyb as an example).
This site started out, we leaned towards true enthusiast showing what we wanted out of a Mustang. Ford came, listened and our thoughts and feedback show up in the very cars they produce. This process flows into aftermarket tuners and aftermarket parts producers. Your opinions count here.
Lets keep the flow going and let your ideas and critqueing flow to the next offering from Shelby (or any other manufacturer for that matter).
Also, I want to thank AmyB for coming to the site and offering feedback as well as fielding all of the abuse thats been thrown her way. Shelby has done a great job in years past, and has started out strong again with the GT500. The Shelby GT is a great entry level SE type car and i'm glad to see it come about. Now what about that KR?

Its not up for quesiton or discussion. Condescending and general snide comments are the reason I had to make this thread to begin with.
