More pictures & procedure
I did not take pictures of the work; however, I just took and attached “behind the grill picturesâ€.
<o> </o>
Here’s the procedure:
-I purchased a set of GT fog lights with brackets from CJ Pony
-Take off the grilles; the <st1:city w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Shelby</st1lace></st1:city> grille is attached to the GT grille
-The depth of the lights with their bracket is too great to be placed behind the grille
-Remove the fog light brackets; the lights will
fit behind the grille
-Remove the two grille brackets which secures the <st1:city w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Shelby</st1lace></st1:city> grille to the GT grille, because they interfere with the fog light “holesâ€
-Replacement grille brackets are needed; I used old Ford keys (yes old Ford keys … hey, got to improvise). Two keys per side make great tab/brackets to securely affix the Shelby and GT grilles together. Plus they serve as brackets to hold the fog light in place.
-Place fog light into position
-Along with the two keys, a 1†x 5†metal strip serves as the third and last bracket to hold the light in place; attach to existing GT grille fog light socket and swivel to lock fog light into position
-Plug the existing fog light wire/socket into the fog light bulb socket; this allows the fog lights to be controlled by the light switch in the dash
-Replace the grill
-Place a 15 amp fuse is #58 slot in the fuse box in the engine compartment; Shelby America had removed the fuse and placed it in a spare slot; just reuse it
-Turn lights on; remember the engine must be running

I like the car in the background...on the right.
I see you are in Birmingham! Awesome, when I return we will have to get together sometime. It will be around next June...unless they extend me for another year which has been batted around.
Either way, nice to see another Shelby GT in B'ham and on this site.

Innovative, tasteful, and effective.
The three best compliments I can give any mod!

That's the way it should have come from the factory. As nice as the SGT is I cannot stand that all they did was leave two huge holes in the grill. Ship them to Shelby with a V6 grill instead. That mod looks looks killer!! That is the first thing I would do if I had one of those. Nice job.

Whoa!!! Im going to give this a try. ok, ok I know I have a GT/CS, but i slapped on the SGT grille but miss my fogs. Had to modify (cut) my OEM grille to achieve this...the fogs are just sitting in a closete hehe so im interested in trying this. Thats why I love these boards!!!

Just a heads up newbie! I wouldn't count on getting a response from the OP. The reason? his last post on this site was from over 7 years ago. Also are you aware that nobody has posted on this thread in over 12 years? apparently not
