I would like to add some fog lights to my 2007 Shelby GT. What I would like to know is will a 2005 thru 2009 Mustang GT upper grill fit on the 07 Shelby GT. Also are the fog light plugs behind the Shelby grill or would I need to buy a wireing kit? What I'm thinking is take the GT grill with fog lights, add a billet grill over the Gt grill to keep the original look except the fogs. Any help is appreciated.

 

I have an 08 and even though they look the same, they changed a few things behind the grille on the 08. Saying that, I believe they left some of the parts behind when removing the GT grille, making this modification for the 07 easier for an 08. What I have seen done, is where someone installed the fog lights behind the grille. It still had the SGT look with the brushed aluminum grille but the foglights were reinstalled behind the grille so you could use them, even though being blocked by the grille, the lights coming through the slots. Looked good. I would recommend checking around the forums at teamshelby.com. That is where I saw the writeup. Not sure if this is what you are wanting to do or not but hope that helps.

 

Thanks 08SGT1977. What I'm thinking about doing is buying a GT grill w/fogs. Then put a billet grill over the GT grill to keep the stock look. I'm also wondering if the wireing for the fogs is already behind the Shelby billet grill.

 

Yes, & Yes, the grill will fit and the pig tails for the original fog lights are right behind the current grill.
