Just finished 1 week in a GT-H

6 days actually. Did 1500 miles.

A really great car. I felt it was extremely well built and the FRPP suspension transforms the handling of the Mustang. It rides VERY tight and rails corners like theres no tomorrow. I wish Ford would offer an option to have this suspension from the factory.

The engine sounds sweet. Its' more fun to leave the radio off and just listen to it. It sounds like it has a supercharger sometimes when the air is getting sucked through the CAI. Sounds like you are driving something out of NASCAR when on full throttle.

The 17" Bullits look great as well. Although these wheels don't look big enough to me on a stock GT, when combined with the lowered suspension they look sinister.

Also, I'd say the car looks even better in person, especially the lowered stance it has.

If anyone has specific questions I'd be happy to answer.

Mark

How much firmer is the ride as compared to the stock GT? Did you notice any exhaust drone at 2000 RPM?

all you have to do to have that suspension on your stang is rent one...take said stang and your own to your garage...swap said suspension parts and return the car...i'm sure they''d never know.

Tony, I would say the suspension is almost a track level setup. It is defiintly alright in day to day driving, but very firm. Its especially n oticeable when doing 70 on the highway and hitting a big bump. I did some driving in deep canyons and really pushed it through some corners- never lost grip and only had a tire squeal once. It handles awesomely.

As for the drone, yes that does happen. But all you have to do is stay steady on the pedal while crusing. The drone happens when youre cruising along and apply light throttle. If you practice it you can get to a point where you learn not to do that and avoid the droning.

Comparing the suspension to a stock GT- when I test drove a GT it felt very loose and not very sports car like. Also it would nose dive under braking. The FRPP setup makes it feel rock solid with no dive at all. If you feel the front strut tower brace, the thing is stiff as heck, probably the best one out the IMHO.
