what you guys think of the exhust
Elliot - sorry if I'm missing it....but what exhaust is that? Tips look real nice I think the dual wall is the only way to go. I have nice Magnaflow axleback exhaust with the 4" dual wall tips....but I'm thinking I want something a bit louder - but not too loud.
What !!!!
so get it while it's hot!!!
sorry bout that - I looked at your sig several times and somehow missed the Shelby exhaust. Do tell on where you picked them up, price, ease of install and loudness/crispness compared to stock. Are they a chambered type of muffler (Flowmaster, etc.) or a straight through design like the Magnaflow?TIA
ninosport.com
is where i picked it up at.if you tell them your on the forum they'll give you another 5% off. overall i love this exhust!! it sounds just as good as it looks and you cant beat the price. ninosport has a sound clip on their site.
it was 265$ install was easy if you have installed a exhust before,if you havent it's still preety easy. just get some good sockets and you'll be fine.i can install these in about 20 min both sides so it's not bad
here are some finished pics.

Hey Elliott!
What's even weirder is the fact not only do we have the same license plate, but the same color car! The only mods on mine are:
Chrome Corral (in the grille around the horse)
Shortened Antenna
Hood Struts ( Got rid of prop rod the 1st day!)
Rear View mirror with Compass, Temp, and GDO built in!
See your down in Ft Bragg, do they have the 82nd Airborne Museum located there or am I thinking elsewhere? If so, my father's jump jacket used to be on display there from WW II. (Smith) I know this is where my brother went back in 69-70 before he left for Vietnam. He was a drill seargant at Ft Knox in the late 70's.

- that's a very reasonable price. Who makes these mufflers anyway? Also, I'd like to hear your take on the sound compared to stock....sometimes sound clips can be misleading. TIAElliot - I called NinoSport and found out these are the Ford Racing mufflers that are on the Shelby GT (hence the name-duh!!) and the same ones on the Hertz Shelby as well. I rented one of those a ways back and they sound pretty good - not too loud but definelty deeper than stock....the GT-H did have the FRP "X" pipe and I wonder how much louder that make the exhaust sound...
one of the reason's i like this exhust is the price, second the looks!and third the sound. it sounds like a normal strong engine car which it is but it;s hard to describe. it just sounds really good,i like the sound of a magna flow or a flowmaster, just not on my car. this is a deep good sounding exhust. give me your email address and i'll send you a clip i dont know how to put it on here
