Just ordered a GT/CS. ordered in black, but don't really like the black stripe. how you can not see it. Thinking of changing to white, I still have time as it is cold where I am so not getting it till May. In Canada is also available in silver. Has anybody seen silver? Also can you ever really see the stripe on the black ones? Would like to see pics of a silver one. Thanks

 

JMO but I like the matte black stripe on the black CS's.

 

+1... I like the Stealthy look of the matted black stripes on black. Stick with black

 

Not really related to the stripe, but black for me would not have been a colour I would have gone for. My Vista vert was ordered in Aug and I just got it last week, and like you said its cold so straight into the garage for a couple of months......sigh, but I did drive it for two days first.
One thing my dealer did say is that getting canadian orders accepted by the factory now may be tough because of a shortage of the 18" wheels which are a must on the CS. Mine was only the second one at this large Vancouver dealership so it would seem (In Canada at least) they are a bit rare, so I would stay on top of your order to make sure it actually goes through.

silver stripe is a good choice, IMO. when i was shopping for my mustang, i looked at a black GT/CS, and i wasn't warm and fuzzy for the dull black stripe. I was going to get a blue GT/CS because of it. But finally settled on a black GT.

 

On the build and price ford dealer sites, the car comes in silver not the strip. That is what I am wondering if anybody has seen. Thanks again. Cool site everyone.

black or white is the best color to get. As for the black stripe that's the whole point is to barely see the stripe.As for white,that's just a beautiful looking car.

 

I got the Vista Blue and even the black stripe is hard to see unless you are standing in the sunlight. But, I like it better that way. I have not yet seen any black or white CS's here in Jersey.

 

Why Vista blue of course I'ma biased but did not know that Ford had added the Silver body color for the GT/CS.....anyone have a pic?

 

Vista Blue would rock if you could get it with silver side stripes. Repost of a photoshop I did.

Maybe MY 08 will have this option. Of course a silver GT/CS with Blue sides stripes would be nice too. All I would need to do is add the metallic blue LeMans stripes and

 

White with Black has some aftermarket potential too.
Just some thoughts I've toyed with using the Cervini's B2 and M1 kits and CS side stripe and side scoop. Can't get the GT/CS front fascia right but you get the idea.

I agree!! I would love to get the Silver CS Stripes (Baltimore Mods have them). Them put on the Silver LeMans. That would be awesome. If I had the know how, I would like to do that!! I think that would look so cool.

 

Vista Blue is real nice. I also like the White as well....

 

Interesting. Also note that Grabber Orange is not listed as a GT/CS color option. Is this a webpage error or is silver really avalable to only are friends up north?

strange it is in the brocure ? the Grabber that is

 

Grabber Orange is not a Canadian option so is this only available to our friends down south?

Silver = North
Orange = South ....................only available, could it be?
