Torch Red GT/CS?
I just saw a Mustang commercial that showed a Torch Red Pony, a Torch Red GT, then a Torch Red GT/CS Convertible. It was a head-on shot, but it had GT fogs and a GT/CS front bumper (and the GT appearance package hood scoop). Did I miss something? Is the GT/CS available on Torch Red cars? You can't build a Torch Red GT/CS on Ford's site.

Just for the fun of it, I tried a Virtual Build on the Ford site. You know, Torch Red isn't the only color not available on GT/CS!! Alloy, Bright Silver, Vapor Silver, and according to the site, Grabber Orange [but we all know better about GO.] But in a Ford sales magazine, it listed Windveil Blue as another color--- not even on the Ford site.Go figure ! One other color Highland Green [obviously saved for the Bullitt.]

Brad: Torch Red?
Brad: Funny thing is that yesterday in my post #71 at the epitome color of Mustang thread. I had stated, that if FoMoCo had made a 2007 GT/CS in Torch Red, we would probably have one of those sitting out in the shop now! Please let us know if you find out any thing real on this Torch Red thing! It would be very smart on Ford's part, to offer one. Believe that they probably would sell like fresh cooked hotdogs!! Thanks! CalStang

Torch Rd GT/CS Spotted
A local Ford dealer in my town has a Torch red GT/CS and a yellow GTCS. They are both 2008 models and one is already sold. Here is the catch. They both are actually fully loaded GT models with the GT/CS side striping special ordered. The also have the same wheels as ours but sit on differet tires. From a distance they look great. The yellow on also has black 10 inch stripes. Up close they look sensational, especially the torch red.

only colors for the GT/CS : Black, Performance White, Vista Blue, Redfire Red, and Grabber Orange
There have been a lot of aftermarket makeovers in a lot of colors to look like a CS by replacing the front and rear bumpers.
One way to tell if it is a true CS is look at the seats, they are 2 tone. most people doing the make over do not change out the seats.

I have seen a lot of copy cats in the area. Such as an all black v-6 with gld hertz srtipes and a fake pearl white shelby with blue 10 inch stripes. To top that off I saw a legend lime GT with the GT500 striping at the local laundry. I went in to ask the owner what's up? and the guy drove off. Reminds me of the old days when I tried to turn my base model Cavalier coupe into a Z-24...not quite!
