No verdict yet as the car is still up in the air with more installs underway. Shifter install was pretty easy, the most complex aspect was figuring out how to release the shift cable. Quality of the shifter is excellent.

Just got my TCI Shifter today. I swithed out the t-handle with a American Shifter ****. Next I need to put it in the car.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement reverse lockout toggle with two holes in it?

Looks pretty cool. Is this shifter worth the coin though? Does it actually improve performance, or does it mostly just improve the "feel" of driving?

My (Opinion) .......

It has nothing to do with "Performance".
It is just a Very High Quality Ratchet-Shifter.
Looks Awesome and works Great.

Also is Legal for NMRA, NHRA & IHRA drag racing events.

You cannot accidentally put it in Neutral or Reverse while using the Ratchet part to shift gears.

Terry, sorry to get off subject but this spring, I'll be upgrading My drivetrain with Dynotech driveshaft, TCI input shaft, Billet Servos and a torque converter (not TCI). What converter & stall did you get and how is your street drivability with the converter? Thanks for any advice...

I Appreciate your Post.
It actually looks in person like it all came from Ford.
And drives the same way on the street, smooth.
(Until you Hit the Go-Pedal)

That will be a nice up-grade for your tranny with those changes.

I have the {Circle-D} stall converter in mine.
When Brenspeed ordered the converter from {Chris} owner of Circle-D Converter's.
They discussed what "Stall-Speed" for the Billet Converter since mine is actually a Street-Driven-Mustang.
The stall is set at 2,500 RPM as I recall.
The car drives just like a stock one with this converter.
You {Don't} want a high stall speed for your converter if you are going to be driving your Mustang on the street mostly.
The Higher the Stall-Speed the more Gas and Higher-Heat you are going to be dealing with.
There is a HUGE difference between a street driven car and a Drag-Race car.
You can simply call Chris and discuss with him what Stall Speed he recommends for your application.
Super Nice Guy !!!
Tell him Terry Honaker aka "tigerhonaker" told you to call.

Oh, last comment, I would do everything exactly like I have it if I were to do it all over again.
(My Mustang works Perfect on the Street & Drag-Strip)

Here is what you need to get in touch with Chris.

You can order it from Chandler at Brenspeed if you like.

Thanks Jordan

The TCI Ratchet Shifter adds a lot to the inside of a Mustang I think.
Puts that Sport Look inside the cabin where we are the owners.
