Spoiler options
Anybody have pics of their GT/CS with a GT500 rear spoiler or maybe the v6 flat spoiler? White vert would be nice.
I'm not a fan of the stock pedastal spoiler and wish now that I got the "spoiler delete" option. Maybe later, I'll get the holes filled and the trunk repainted as the clean line is what I really prefer. For now, looking to replace the 'flying wing' and cover up the 4 ugly holes. Thanks.

I put a black left-over pedestal wing in place of the white one on my white coupe. It's not a perfect solution, but it helps.
Pictures are there

If you go the GT 500 route, check out the spoiler store on ebay. Usually run about $115 painted and shipped. That's where I got mine and its been flawless since installed last summer.

I am going through the same dilemma as the GT spoiler just looks out of place on a vert. For now, I just plugged my holes with some plastic plugs (painted body color) until I figure out what way to go. Now that my Foose hood is on, I am really liking the spoilerless look.
Here's a thread I posted last year with some comparison shots between the GT, V6, and no spoiler.

Thanks everyone. this has really helped. The old 'flying wing' is off and the holes plugged with Autozone plastic trim plugs. It would look better if the plugs were painted body color white, but this should be very temporary.
The V6 / KR spoiler is of highest interest right now. Does anyone know where to buy pre-painted? Was hoping to find a deal like The Spoiler Store offers on the GT500 version. Hope I don't need to go to a Ford dealer for it...

About the only way to find one pre-painted is to locate a take off in your color. I searched for almost a year trying to find one in Alloy as I decided to look for one right after they stopped carrying them at Newtakeoff.com.
I will keep my eye out for one in the classifieds.

This is a couple of pictures of my Genuine Ford GT500 rear spoiler. It is a more expensive option, but is the way I wanted to do it....Uses only the original pedestal holes and double sided tape.
Hope this helps.

I found a V6 Pony Package flat type spoiler from an 09 locally for a good price, but it's gloss black. My GT/CS 'vert is performance white. I mounted on the trunk lid for a look see and the contrast looks pretty good. It might look better if it were satin black like the "old school" Mach I spoilers. Does anyone have D.I.Y. tips on how to de-gloss the finish to get a satin finish on the spoiler? rubbing compound? 00 steel wool?

I like that "look"; even with the gloss it seems preferable to the pedestal.
I have a swap working: my black pedestal for a Windveil Blue V6/KR item. To achieve the "satin" or "semi-matte" finish, I believe I'll try painting it in Ebony and use "flat" or semi-matte clear coat.

Yea the gloss black is NOT growing on me, I will probably take it off and get it painted HP white and clear coat to match. Any idea what that might cost?

The body/paint shop on the grounds at my local stealership wanted $350 to remove the pedestal, repaint in Ebony clearcoat (from Candy Apple), and install the flat one. An independent shop wanted about half that.
